This week, each year, students celebrate World Impact Week. Students learn about countries and cultures all over the world. They pray for the needs of these countries and especially for the gospel to spread in that area. They also raising money for various needs, ministries and missionaries as well as doing acts of service.
As a conclusion to World Impact Week, here is a look into a few elementary classes as they wrapped up not only their studies but also fulfilled their mission giving goals.
Third grade enjoyed a market trading day, a piñata and gathered over 40 Spanish bibles for the children of Mexico!
Mrs. Jones' fourth grade class packed hygiene bags for Nicaragua.
Amy Baker's fourth grade class raised $12,000 for Syria as well as other Middle Eastern countries in partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship. The money will go towards reaching boys and girls with the gospel.
Fifth grade enjoyed activities featuring India and also participated in a "well" activity where they wrote letters to children in India, sampled foods and raised money to help build an actual well.
What a blessing to see all of our elementary students serving and impacting lives all over our world for Jesus Christ!
