Bio
Suzanne studied at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she received her BA and MS in education. She began her teaching career in Maryville City Schools at Maryville Middle and Intermediate. There she taught math and language arts and fell in love with middle school-age students.
Suzanne took time off from teaching to be home with her oldest three children after they were born. Shortly after her boys entered kindergarten she began subbing and ultimately teaching as an interim teacher at Poplar Grove Elementary in Franklin before coming to teach at Grace Christian in 2011. She has a passion for her students and enjoys seeing them thrive in an environment where they can experience God's presence and love!
Suzanne is married to Daniel Bechman and they have four children, Anna Kate, Dean, and Dawson, GCA graduates, and Ginny Grace, a student at GCA.
