Connie Thomas grew up in Franklin and attended Franklin High School. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Tennessee, she married Jim, who also is from Franklin. She taught in adult education in Texas and Louisiana before they moved to Memphis, where she was a stay-at-home mom and tutor. The Lord called her back into the classroom in 2004 where she taught at Evangelical Christian School (ECS).
Connie and Jim have three children and three grandchildren. After much prayer and with God’s leading, they moved back “home” to Franklin in 2018. Connie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, relaxing at their home-away-from-home at the Tennessee River, reading and being with family.
Connie has a passion for teaching middle schoolers and teaching to all learning styles. Her life verse has become “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13.
