Katie Del Rocco » Bio

Katie started making faces and acting in front of the mirror at the early age of two and has been acting ever since -  professionally since 2010, after graduating with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Theater and English) from Piedmont College in Demorest, GA.  Roles she'd happily play again and again are Maria of Sound of Music and Rosalind from Shakespeare's As You Like It. She's had the pleasure of acting in several films, among them Mockingjay Part 1, and when not acting she has enjoyed passing on her experience to others through teaching theatre and musical theatre classes.  Her passion is making Scripture stand out in 3D through her original one-woman plays, which include portrayals of Mary the Mother of Jesus and Last Nights of the King, a play featuring seven women in the life of King David.  She's had the honor of performing in the Southeast, Midsouth and the Caribbean, and hopes to take these performances to as many as possible to help audiences connect with the Word in new ways.
