Bio

Elizabeth is from Franklin and attended Franklin High School where she was a swimmer. She got her Elementary Education Degree from Western Kentucky University where she also swam all four years. Elizabeth received her Master's from Trevecca University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment during her second year of teaching. After college, she moved back to Franklin and began teaching 4th grade. Realizing quickly that the lower grades are her passion, she moved to Kindergarten the following year and stayed there for eight years. Elizabeth loves the classroom but also enjoys working with teachers and has presented at several conferences locally and nationally.

After teaching full time for eight years, Elizabeth welcomed her first baby. She left the classroom full time and began teaching Transitional Kindergarten part-time at a local pre-school. Knowing the impact that an educational Christian environment has had on her as a teacher, she knew it was imperative that her children be a part of a school that was centered around Christ.

Elizabeth is excited to welcome a new group of Kindergarteners each year, teach them, and help them cultivate their love for Jesus. She lives in Franklin with her husband, Jon. They have three children, Amelia, Pierceson, and Barnes.
