High School Student Life

Grace Ambassadors - Grace Ambassadors is a leadership team that is comprised of students who apply to the position and are approved by the Administration Team. The Ambassadors help with new student tours, greeters at school events, and other opportunities throughout the year.

Homecoming - Homecoming Week is a week of fun festivities that ends with a school-wide pep rally, Homecoming Football Game, and Hoedown Dance for High School students. Activities for High School students include float building, House competitions, Homecoming pep rally, and a Powder Puff football game.

Houses - All High School students are assigned to a House at the beginning of their High School years and they stay a part of the House until graduation. Houses are grouped for House Competitions, Homecoming Festivities, and Spirit Nights for sporting events. House Leadership Team is for students grades 10 - 12.

National Honor Society - The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, promote leadership, stimulate a desire to serve, and build and develop character in GCA students.

Student Council - Student Council is open to students in grades 9 - 12. There are Grade Level Representatives, as well as Student Body President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Student Council is responsible for service projects and other student life activities.

Winter X - High School students have the ability to take part in a week long, outside of the classroom, experiential learning opportunity. Both domestic and international trips are offered with mission components. Faculty and staff prayerfully choose a variety of trips and experiences to expose students to the world outside of GCA.

Yearbook Club - The Yearbook team is comprised of a group of students who applied for the position, and work with our Yearbook Advisor faculty member to oversee the publication of our annual school yearbook.
