Hello and Welcome! I am so glad that you stopped by to learn more about GCA’s umbrella program. This program offers encouragement and support to home school families with the love of Jesus at the center! Our mission is to help families provide their students with a biblically saturated and yet academically excellent experience! Families that have been called to home school are certainly on a road of blessing! God’s word simply states how pleasing it is to Him. Deuteronomy 6: 5-9 says, “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
It is also our vision and purpose to offer an atmosphere of community with like-minded families. Through campus events and special worship experiences, we provide opportunities to link our home school families with our full time GCA families- building relationships and a stronger campus!
GCA’s umbrella program provides the record keeping services that the state requires as well as general advisement. We are not a tutorial and do not offer on campus classes or sporting experiences for homeschooling students. However, we can direct you to some quality, biblical-based tutorials in the area that can provide you with these experiences. An Umbrella program and a Tutorial operate differently and do not offer the same services.
The following services are provided through this program: Assistance in school transfers; General Advisement; Maintenance of academic records; Coordination of field trips/ 1 per semester; Campus events.
Thank you again for taking time to read about our umbrella program. It is my hope that this information has been helpful and encourages you to trust the path the Lord has or may be placing you on. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss enrolling your student.
For His Service,
