Mrs. Gretchen Ghossein is a 2011 graduate from Moody Bible Institute, where she earned her B.A. in Elementary Education. After graduating college, Gretchen moved to Ibadan, Nigeria to teach at American Christian Academy. There she taught second grade for one year and third grade for two years. In 2014, Gretchen moved to Franklin and began teaching second grade at GCA! In 2017, Gretchen graduated with her Masters from MTSU.
In 2016, Gretchen went from Ms. Smith to Mrs. Ghossein when she got married to her husband William Ghossein. When she is not teaching, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family who live in Knoxville, TN.
She loves that the Bible is applicable to every area of life and that God uses different verses to encourage us at different points in our lives. Currently, her favorite verse is, James 1:2-4 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
