Bio

Lindsey is excited to entering her 8th year at GCA. She is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, but fled the cold winters and moved south for college. After earning her degree in Elementary Education (k-8) from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, she went on to complete her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (with an emphasis in school social work) from the University of Tennessee. In addition to teaching 3rd grade for the past 7 years at GCA, she has taught in a wide variety of school settings and grade levels. She is excited to be transitioning into the school counselor position (for grades preK-8th) this year. This role is a wonderful combination of her training and passions. She has such a deep love for education AND for nurturing the social and emotional health of children and adolescents.

Lindsey is actively involved at her church, The Bridge (in Spring Hill), where her husband Craig is the Executive Lead Pastor of Strategy. Lindsey and Craig have three children who are all students at GCA: Greyson, Selah, and Crew. When their kids aren’t busy participating in athletics or fine arts, they love to hike, travel, and sip coffee on their porch.

It brings Lindsey so much joy to see students grow in knowledge of their academics each year, but above all else, she loves seeing them grow in the Lord, in their love for others, and in their belief that their identity is in Christ alone.

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever."  2 Peter 3:18
