Bio

Laura grew up in a Christian home in Vermont, and attended Harding University in AR.  After graduating with a degree in HR, she was unsure of her career direction and realized many people struggle with that decision.  She decided to help others in this process, and attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Career Counseling.

Laura has worked in career services, advising, teaching and recruiting at TX State, UT-Austin, Belmont, Lipscomb and most recently Williamson College.  She still is an adjunct instructor at Belmont.  Laura believes her calling is to help others identify their God-given gifts and talents and how those translate into meaningful work.  She is excited to see the plans the Lord has for GCA graduates!

Laura and her husband Rick have two boys who are students at GCA.  They are grateful for the opportunity to raise their boys in a Christian school.  They are active members at Heritage church of Christ.
