Bio

Mrs. Rosemary Elrod is excited to be at Grace Christian Academy as the 8th grade English teacher. She retired from Williamson County Schools in May 2018, where she taught 8th grade English for twenty-three years. Rosemary grew up in a small town in North Louisiana and graduated from University of Louisiana Monroe with a major in vocal music education as well as a minor in English.    

She and her husband Steve are the proud parents of four children, and they have twelve grandchildren as well as two great-grandchildren. Nothing pleases her more than spending time with her family. She especially enjoys introducing her grandchildren to the wonder and majesty of God’s creation, whether it’s the mountains of Colorado, the beaches of Florida, the swamps of Louisiana, or the woods behind her home.   

One of Rosemary’s primary goals is to help her students become the strongest readers and writers they can be.
