Bio

With an extensive coaching resume that includes serving as varsity boys head coach for  multiple high school programs, Michael spent several years as associate head coach at Christ Presbyterian Academy with an overall record of 208-39.
 
A 2001 Belmont University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, Michael was a three year starter on the Belmont Men’s Basketball team, and  played in the first Division 1 basketball game in the school’s history.
 
As a skilled coach and committed mentor, Michael is the Founder and Director of the Elite Amateur Basketball Club of Tennessee (EAB), a 501c3 non-profit for boys and girls with  over 400 families involved statewide. The organization comprises 30+ boys teams and  10+ girls teams ranging from 2nd-11th grade with locations in Knoxville, Nashville,  Murfreesboro and Memphis.
 
Michael brings his decorated basketball career to the GCA Lions after serving as the associate head coach and assistant athletic director at Hamilton Heights  Christian Academy, helping lead them to be the 2020 NACA Division 1 National Champions with the highest national ranking in the school’s history.
 

Michael and his wife, Diana, are excited to watch their three girls grow up in a community that not only offers a superb education, but also integrates faith into their everyday life.
