Operation Christmas Child
Our high school students traveled to the processing center in Atlanta for Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child. In late October, these students raised $8,000 on their own, and shopped for and filled 275 shoeboxes. During their time in Atlanta, they prepared the shoeboxes to be shipped, which included getting a Bible, so that people who might not otherwise hear the gospel, will get to. We pray the shoeboxes would go into the hands of children who will come to know and believe "that the Lord is God; there is no other" (1 Kings 8:60). We are believing that God is going to do a mighty work through this day of service, not only with the shoeboxes that will be sent all over the world, but also in our own hearts.
