Welcome to Parent Teacher Fellowship

Each school year, parents ask where they can get plugged in or help at GCA. Here is a list of current volunteer needs at GCA:

Monthly Workroom Teacher Treats

Our room moms on each campus will be coordinating a monthly lunch or treat for each teacher workroom, paid for by donations from GCA families.

Last year, we had catered lunches from a variety of local restaurants, such as Pueblo Real, Olive Garden, and Stroud’s BBQ, as well as smaller treats like Nothing Bundt Cakes, Sonic drinks, and other fun treats. The teachers and staff appreciate this so much each year, and we would love to bless them again this year.

In order to make this happen, we are asking for contributions from you, our GCA families. Please know this money is coordinated by the Room Moms, and 100% of it is used for these special "teacher treat" days.

Elementary Lunchroom Volunteer

Mrs. Brenda does an incredible job of keeping the lunchroom running smoothly, but she needs a few more hands to help out. If you would be willing to help Brenda while spending time with your elementary child(ren) and their peers at lunch, please sign up HERE. Due to limited space, we ask that you do not bring siblings not attending GCA. If you don't have elementary children anymore, we would appreciate your help as well!

GCA Library Volunteer

The GCA library would love your help processing books and/or helping with special projects. Dates and times that volunteers are needed will vary. If you would like to volunteer in the library, please email Renee Hall at [email protected].

Faculty Meeting Snacks

Our teachers have several faculty meetings throughout the year. We would love to bless them by providing snacks at these meetings. They are typically after school, so things such as veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese and crackers, popcorn, deli trays, cookies, etc. would be wonderful. If you would be willing to sign up to bring snacks for our teachers, you may sign up:

Concessions Volunteer

We need your help serving in concessions during GCA home games. This is a terrific way to help support our school AND our athletic community! Here are a few teams that still need help with concessions during their games:

Mom’s Coffee Event Helpers

We are very excited to be hosting Mom’s Coffee events this year. We are looking for 4-5 volunteers to help plan, set up, and provide decor for each event. If you are interested in helping, please email Haley at [email protected].

Faculty and Staff "Favorite Things" Lists

If you would like to bless our faculty and staff throughout the year, we have lists of all of their favorite things that may help inspire some ideas. Each individual's list is included in our GCA staff directory found at this link.

Rewards Programs

Our families have the opportunity to help raise funds for our school by taking part in various rewards programs. Several different programs earn money for our school that we are able to spend on classroom supplies, technology, and other valuable resources. We ask each family please take a few minutes to link your grocery store’s reward program so that GCA can benefit from your normal shopping routine.

Kroger

Simply register online at https://www.kroger.com/account/enrollCommunityRewardsNow/. Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with Grace Christian Academy of Leiper’s Fork when you sign up online. If you do not yet have a Kroger Plus card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger. If you enrolled your plus card last year, you MUST RE-ENROLL each school year. Kroger is VERY generous in their checks to us but you must enroll/re-enroll your card. Grandparents, friends, and family can register and designate donations to our school as well.
