Mission & Philosophy

The goal of our Bible program is to be a tool that God is using to water the roots of each child, so they may grow to show the fruits of Christ to the world around them. We believe that God has ordained parents as the primary disciple-makers of their children and that it is our role to come alongside and partner with each family. We also hope to see children find a passion for the Lord that is unique to them.

We accomplish these goals in three different ways. First, we teach God’s word (2 Timothy 3:14-17). We use Christ centered curriculum in each of our classes (Hebrews 12:1-2). Children are pushed to a deeper knowledge of the Lord and challenged to live it out each and every day. The second way that we accomplish these goals is through discipleship. We want to echo what parents are teaching children at home. We will love each child and pray for them. We will teach them how to read and study the Scriptures and how to seek the Lord. Our teachers will show your children how to live out their faith (1 Corinthians 11:1 and Hebrews 13:7). The third way that we will accomplish our goals is through service (Mark 10:45). Children will be asked to serve GCA, fellow students, the community, and the world. We are building partnerships with many different places and organizations, so that your child will learn to show their love through action.

We truly believe that we are partners with parents in pointing their child to Christ. We want to support parents in any way that we can so that children can reach their full potential in understanding their identity in Christ and their role as Christ followers in the world.
