GCA Plan for Distance Learning

Dear GCA Families,

On March 16 we received a news briefing from our President and Governor urging schools statewide to close for the remainder of March as our leaders hope to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19.  All of us here at GCA want each of you to know that we are praying alongside you and your family, as we continue to put our hope and trust in God’s great and sovereign nature.

We are working to provide you with the most up-to-date information related to GCA.  At this time, we will not be having school on campus through April 3 and this does include all school sponsored activities on or off campus. At that time, we will reassess and make decisions according to local, state and federal recommendations and guidelines. In addition, The Grace Gala will be postponed until a later date.

We hope that in communicating this news early, we will be giving our families the opportunity to make appropriate plans for their families.  Also, by the end of this week, your student’s school principal will be emailing you with the details of how we will be handling distance learning, which will begin on Wednesday, March 25.  Our faculty, staff and administration will utilize March 23 and 24 to finalize our online delivery structure.  We have been formulating our distance learning plan for the last two weeks and we are confident that we will be able to continue to provide your students with a quality Christian Education.

Thank you for your patience as we partner together to make this a successful learning experience.  We truly appreciate your support, cooperation and understanding during this time of uncertainty.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7
