Bio

Mary grew up in Leipers Fork TN, right down the street from Grace Christian Academy. She attended Franklin High School where she played softball, basketball, and ran cross country. She later studied at Western Governors University receiving her Bachelors in Educational Studies. She is also a member of One Church Home in Fairview. 

Mary has a passion for mission work. Before teaching she took 9 mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She helped create a transitional scholarship program for boys and girls at Josiah’s House. Although she hasn't been able to continue mission work out of the country, she feels the new mission field is here at Grace Christian Academy.

God has called her to teaching and she loves teaching Kindergarten. Her goal is to help children discover their God-given gifts, develop those gifts, and to teach them how to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ all while getting an excellent Christian Education. She strongly believes  that we should “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6
