Bio

Kevin committed his life to the Lord in the summer of 1984. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he later earned his degree from California State University, Stanislaus. A lifelong teacher and coach, he has taught all levels of high school and worked with basketball and track athletes at every level—from middle school students to Olympic competitors.

He and his wife, Wendy, are blessed with 10 children. Together, their family toured the nation for a decade as the band Citizens of Glory. Today, their family also has many entrepreneurial pursuits, reflecting their shared passion for creativity and business. Kevin and his family moved from California to Franklin, Tennessee, where he continues to pursue his love for teaching at GCA.

With over forty years of teaching experience in the classroom, Kevin views education as far more than instruction. He believes teachers are called to be messengers of truth—imparting knowledge, cultivating wisdom, and guiding students to develop discernment and critical thinking. For him, teaching is ultimately about glorifying God and preparing young people to be beacons of light in a dark world.

Beyond the classroom, Kevin enjoys speaking to large groups about his family's passions. business, and sports. At the foundation of his philosophy is a deep conviction: all true education is grounded in the infallible Word of God, revealed through both the Old and New Testaments of Scripture.
