BIO
Kristin was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and an MA in Education from Union University. Kristin taught high school business and technology classes in the public school system in the Memphis area for 5 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom when her oldest child was born. Kristin and her husband Matt have 4 children who all attend GCA. She homeschooled her children for several years and recently taught middle school part-time at their tutorial.
Kristin is excited to be a part of the GCA community in a role where she can help students cultivate an understanding of how they can have a positive impact for the Kingdom through their digital lives. She loves the hands-on project-based learning that is foundational for students to master computer skills.
In her spare time, she loves to garden, exercise, create home improvement projects for her husband to execute, spend time with her family, and find any and every reason to visit a beach.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” -2 Corinthians 12:9
