Jeff Trigger graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Economics and a minor in Spanish. He relocated to Texas in 2010 and began his teaching career in public schools. He got his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is certified in both Texas and Tennessee in Administration, Special Education, English as a Second Language, Physical Education, and middle school English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
He has over a decade of experience teaching various disciplines of Science and Special Education and coaching at the middle and high school levels. He has experience in instructional leadership as a Department Head and a member of the District and Campus Planning and Advisory Council of his former district. He also served as a Transition Specialist for his former district, developing transition plans for college and career readiness for students aged 13-22.
Jeff and his family relocated to Tennessee in 2022. He is excited to support students, teachers, and families in achieving their academic and life goals. He is happily married to his wife, Maribel, and they have one daughter, Zoe, who attends GCA.
