Raquel is a proud member of the Grace Christian community, where she serves as the high school administrative assistant and leads the school's Moms in Prayer coordinators. A graduate of the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in sociology, she is passionate about creating a supportive, prayerful environment for students, staff, and families.

Since moving to Nashville in 2014, Raquel and her family have loved calling Tennessee home. All four of her children attend GCA, making her involvement in the school especially meaningful. She has a deep heart for intercession and has witnessed the power of prayer in her own life and the lives of others.

Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
