BIO

Gabrielle McQueen graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. With a passion for teaching that began early in life, she has gained experience in both general education and inclusion classrooms, working with students from Pre-K through 5th grade. Over the years, she’s also shared her love for teaching through dance and cheer camps, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, and the Junior Achievement Program.

 

After stepping away from the classroom to stay home with her children, Gabrielle joined the GCA staff three years ago. Originally from Mississippi, she and her family moved to Franklin, Tennessee, 11 years ago. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew, for 19 years, and they have two children, Greyson and Ella Grace, as well as two golden retrievers, Tenney and Tate. The McQueens are active members of Church of the City.

 

Gabrielle’s life verse is Galatians 6:9, and her heart for teaching is rooted in a desire for every student to know who they are, whose they are, and how deeply they are loved by the Lord.
