Miriam started volunteering with the Pre-K program when her boys were in Pre-K. She was eventually offered a job with the Pre-K team, much to her joy!! Miriam earned her degree from Valdosta State University. She has four kids and one grandchild. Her oldest daughter is a stay-at-home mom in Murfreesboro, and her second daughter is a 1st LT in the Army stationed at Fort Riley. Her youngest twin boys attend GCA. Miriam and her husband, Paul, have been married for 30 years. They attend Clearview Baptist Church, where the boys are active in the youth group, and Paul and Miriam are active in their Sunday School class.

Miriam loves being around Pre-K age kids. They are so sweet and fun, and it is so neat seeing their joy in learning. She has watched this Pre-K program grow from one class when her boys were in Pre-K to the three classes now at GCA. It is such a blessing to be part of this team.
