BIO
Kristen loves having the opportunity to serve as the elementary school nurse at GCA. She graduated from Oakland University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent over a decade working in critical care nursing in both Michigan and Tennessee. Her experience also includes critical care research and a variety of quality improvement initiatives. In 2019, Kristen transitioned into school nursing in Williamson County—first as a school nurse, then as a school nurse supervisor, where she supported nurse staffing and onboarding and coordinated school health initiatives.
Becoming a school nurse has always been her dream job. It allows her to combine her nursing experience with her love for Jesus and a passion for sharing that faith with the next generation—a calling she considers her greatest joy. Kristen and her husband, Brent, have three beautiful children who attend GCA. They live in Thompson’s Station and are actively involved at The Bridge Church. In her free time, Kristen enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time in the kitchen baking sourdough.
