BIO
Ashley Mills is a 2023 graduate of Lee University, where she earned a degree in music (voice) with a minor in musical theater. During her time at Lee, she was a dedicated member of the traveling ensemble The Ladies of Lee, serving as event coordinator and ministering through song at churches, schools, and rural communities, including a special trip to Hawaii. She was actively involved in Opera Theatre and Lee Theatre, performing in numerous productions. Additionally, she served as a peer leader, mentoring and assisting freshmen as they adjusted to college life. Her academic achievements include membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Eta Sigma honor society.
Born and raised in Franklin, TN, Ashley attended Centennial High School, where she was deeply involved in Chamber Choir, Thespian Society, musical and theatrical productions, Best Buddies, FCA, and various other organizations. She is a lifelong member of Brentwood Baptist Church, where she grew in her faith and love for worship.
For the past two years, Ashley has worked as a voice and acting coach at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy, the very place where she grew up taking lessons in voice, acting, and a cappella. She is passionate about helping students develop their talents and confidence in the performing arts.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys singing, acting, sewing, reading, crafting, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Puddles. She is thrilled to begin her first year teaching at GCA and is grateful for the opportunity to do so in a Christ-centered environment. Ashley is excited to inspire and nurture a love for music and the arts in her students and can’t wait to watch them grow!
