Maddie grew up in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. She attended West Chester University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education with minors in literacy and special education. Throughout college, she continued growing in her relationship with the Lord and continued trusting Him through changing seasons. 

After graduation, she pursued a career as a public school classroom teacher. She has taught for four years, with a broad range of experience in 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. Over the past four years, the Lord has shown her to continue walking with Him as He directs her steps through challenging experiences. In the summer of 2024, the Lord called her to Franklin, Tennessee, to continue her career in a public school. Continuous trust in Him through change has been a theme in her life and her relationship with the Lord! This past spring, He led her to apply to Grace Christian Academy and to trust Him in the outcome of that pursuit.

She is beyond excited to continue trusting the Lord in this next season of change and to be here at Grace Christian Academy!
