BIO

Becka was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. She then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she attended Oral Roberts University and pursued a degree in Communications and Public Relations while also playing soccer for the university. In 2004, she married her childhood friend, Brandon, and relocated to Franklin, TN.

 

Becka worked in marketing in the music industry and then in the non-profit space before starting a family and staying home with her kids. She homeschooled for 9 years until 2022, when her family felt called to make a change and joined the GCA community.  After volunteering and subbing at the school, Becka joined the staff in the 2025 school year. She loves being a part of the community and mission of GCA, of stewarding and discipling the next generation to follow Jesus. Becka spends most of her time on the sidelines of soccer fields and basketball courts cheering on her 3 kids, but also enjoys spending time outside hiking, traveling, reading, baking sourdough, and is also a part-time photographer.
