BIO

Callie grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors through her adventures boating, kayaking, fishing, and wakeboarding. She attended Auburn University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in 2008. Callie then moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in August of 2011. Since graduating, Callie has always felt called to work with children and help instill in them a wonder of God from a young age. As a physical therapist, she has worked with children in both the home health and outpatient settings. In 2018, she started homeschooling her son and developed a love for education and a passion for hands-on learning. Two years ago, God opened the door for her to begin teaching science at Foundations Christian Academy. Teaching has been one of the greatest joys of her life, and she is excited to continue developing a love for God and his creation in children at Grace Christian Academy.

Callie and her husband Eric live on a farm in West Franklin with their four children. Together they grow and can fruits and vegetables, harvest sap to make maple syrup, and care for their four beehives. Callie also loves coaching her daughter's soccer team and outdoor adventures with her family.

1 Peter 4:10-11 has been a guiding verse in her life: “Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.”
