Originally from Southern California, Skyler Collins graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Skyler married her husband and former GCA alum, Christian Collins, and they moved to Franklin, TN.

While at Baylor, Skyler gained valuable classroom experience, through hands-on experience in 2nd, 3rd, and kindergarten classrooms. Since beginning her journey as an educator, Ephesians 4:2 has guided her approach to teaching: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” She is committed to creating a classroom that is rooted in love, grace, and patience, and strives to lead her students in humility and joy. She is truly grateful to be part of a school where Jesus is at the center of each day.
