BIO
Angela is honored to serve as the strength and conditioning coach at GCA and be part of a community that is deeply meaningful to her family. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at St. Catherine University in Minnesota. Her background in both athletics and rehabilitation fuels her passion for helping athletes grow stronger, move efficiently, and perform at their highest level.
Originally from Minnesota, Angela developed a lifelong love for sports and competed in collegiate soccer at the University of Minnesota, where she was part of two Big Ten Championship teams and made two NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances. Prior to her collegiate career, she was named the 2007 Ms. Soccer of Minnesota, was an HS All-American and was also a high school state champion in track. These experiences instilled in her the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—principles she is excited to pass on to student-athletes.
As a mother of three young children who attend GCA, she feels especially grateful to invest in the community both professionally and personally. Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.
Angela is passionate about developing athletes in a Christ-centered environment and helping them pursue excellence in a way that honors God. Her goal is to support each student in building strength, confidence, and character while encouraging them to work wholeheartedly in all they do for the glory of God.
