Lara Beth Hardwick graduated magna cum laude from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Minor in French. She also holds a Master of Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her music background includes work in schools and churches, teaching early childhood music classes, directing children’s choirs, being a piano accompanist, and teaching piano lessons. She and her husband, Jay, have three daughters and one son-in-law.
