BIO
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Ashely earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and her Master’s degree in Teaching from James Madison University. Ashley has a heart for supporting students and helping them thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Her love for teaching began at a young age, teaching her younger siblings in the basement of her family home, and has continued to grow through her education and experience, including homeschooling her own children.
In 2021, Ashley and her family felt the Lord’s calling to move to Franklin and have since loved becoming part of the GCA community. She is married to her college sweetheart, and together they have three children who attend Grace Christian Academy.
Outside of school, Ashley enjoys cooking and hosting for family and friends, learning to knit, and spending time with her loved ones. Her favorite place to be is in the Abaco Islands with her family. She feels grateful for the opportunity to serve at GCA and is passionate about encouraging and supporting students each day.
Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 139:13-14, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,I know that full well.” Ashley’s heart is for each student to fully know and understand the how precious they are to the Lord.
