Bio

Since the age of four, Amy has desired to teach. God continued to grow this desire through college, and in 1995, she graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Amy has had the opportunity to teach in Christian schools in South Carolina, Alabama, Missouri, and Tennessee. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and has received specialised training in teaching reading. Currently, Amy is seeking her master’s degree in teaching and learning.

God has blessed Amy with a wonderful husband and two incredible boys. One of her greatest joys is being part of a school community alongside her children, both of whom are proud graduates of GCA.

Amy’s prayer is that she will be a light to her students and that God will receive the glory in everything she does. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
