Bio

Mendy graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Administrative Office Systems and a minor in Human Resources.

Before joining GCA, Mendy worked at the Bass Pro Shops corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, recruiting employees, and later at Caterpillar Financial Services in Tennessee as an Employee Representative. After six years with Caterpillar, she stepped away from her professional career to raise her children.

Mendy’s involvement with GCA began in 2009, serving the school community in a variety of volunteer roles, including Moms in Prayer group leader, carpool coordinator, room mom, and volunteer coordinator. In 2013, she officially joined the GCA staff. Today, she serves in Human Resources and Finance, overseeing areas including employee benefits, recruiting and hiring, and tuition management.

Long before joining the staff, Mendy began praying for GCA and its students at the founding of the school. After all these years, that remains at the heart of why she loves serving the GCA community. Her prayer continues to echo 3 John 4: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
