Dear GCA Families,
We hope that you and your family had a blessed Easter. We are thankful for all the evidence of spring around us right now. It is all a reminder that God makes all things new and that there is always hope for better days ahead. Our staff and teachers desperately miss having students on campus every day.
We also hope that you and your students have found a routine with distance learning. Please communicate with your student’s teacher or have your students communicate with them if there are any concerns. Our teachers continue to work diligently to provide the best online learning opportunities for each and every student.
As you may be aware, Governor Lee announced during his press conference yesterday his recommendation that schools remain closed for the rest of this school year. Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our students, families, faculty and staff, we will continue with distance learning through the end of the school year. Additional information will be shared soon regarding exam schedules, graduation, summer camps, etc. Our principals and event team continue to brainstorm the best way to celebrate our students during these uncertain times. Thank you for your patience as we make these decisions.
We want to thank you again for your support, understanding and encouraging feedback that you have had for our teachers and school during these unprecedented times. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
