BIO

Katie and her family relocated to the Franklin area in 2023.  She has taught at Christian schools in Wisconsin, Michigan, and the Philippines.  She has eighteen years of teaching experience.  Katie enjoys being a part of the GCA community and values the mission of the school. Katie has been blessed with a loving husband, Jeff. They have one daughter, Mila, who attends GCA.  

Katie's desire in teaching is to show all students the love and kindness of Jesus.  Her prayer is that each student would personally know the love of their Savior and desire to live a life full of gratitude and love for everything He has accomplished. 

Her favorite Bible passage is Psalm 27, specifically verse 4, "One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple."
