Mrs. Lisa Benton has been joyfully teaching music since 1998 and is passionate about helping students discover their God-given talents through creativity, discipline, and worship. As part of the middle school faculty at GCA, she strives to create a vibrant and supportive classroom where excellence is a habit, not just a goal.

 

She holds degrees in Bible and Vocal Performance from Welch College and in Music Education from Belmont University. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Music Education from William Carey University. Her heart for students and deep love for music shine in everything she does.

 

Her favorite verse: "How beautiful are the feet of Lisa who brings good news, who publishes peace,
who brings great JOY, who publishes salvation, who says to GCA and all of Zion, 'My God
Rocks." Isaiah 52:7
