Lauren Ivy is a Spirit Store Assistant at GCA. Lauren was born and raised in Memphis, TN then moved to Birmingham, AL for college where she received her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Samford University. Upon graduation, Lauren moved to Nashville, TN to begin her career in sales and has lived in the greater Middle TN area since 2008. Lauren previously worked in the collegiate apparel world and helped Greek organizations with their t-shirts at different universities all over the United States. Lauren and her husband Will have three children, Amelia, Langston, & Harris, who all attend and love GCA. Lauren was drawn to GCA because she knows the teachers and staff truly love the Lord and they care deeply about their students. She loves the emphasis the school places on apologetics and how all subjects are taught through the lens of Scripture.

Lauren enjoys serving in the kid's ministry at her church along with hosting their small group each week. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids play sports or finding any free weekend to take a trip with her family. 

One of her favorite Bible verses is John 16:33, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
