BIO

Shannon graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology where she also played on the women’s soccer team. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University. After graduation, she pursued a career in physical therapy working with adults before discovering her passion for working with children in the pediatric setting. After practicing physical therapy for over a decade, the Lord opened a door for Shannon to transition out of healthcare into education at a Christian school where she combined her love for children and fitness in an elementary/middle school physical education teacher role. Shannon discovered the joy of educating students and partnering with parents to make Biblical impacts on the next generation. After years of living in Florida, the Lord led Shannon and her family to relocate to Franklin, TN in 2023.

Shannon and her husband CJ have three wonderful children and are excited to all be a part of the GCA community. In her spare time, Shannon and her family enjoy playing sports, watching college football, exploring parks, and checking out local coffee shops. Shannon and her family are members at Redemption City Church where she enjoys serving and making kingdom impacts to the next generation in the kids ministry.
