Bio

Suzy Heath is a Nashville native who has made her home in Williamson County for over forty years. She graduated from Belmont University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After working in the business profession and raising a family, she began to feel God’s call to pursue a career in education. She returned to college as an adult and completed the Post Baccalaureate Education Program at Trevecca Nazarene University. She did her student teaching at Poplar Grove Middle School and Independence High School as well as serving as an interim teacher at Brentwood High School.

Suzy is a member of Clearview Baptist Church. She is the mother of two grown children, a daughter, Cara Beth, and a son, Reagan. Her favorite activities include studying the Bible, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Suzy has a passion for middle school and discipleship. She is honored to be teaching at GCA and to share her love of Jesus with this community. Her desire is to challenge students to learn while nurturing them spiritually.

The scripture that she lives by and wants to share with others is Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
