Bio

Dr. Daniel Spencer graduated from the University of North Texas with degrees in Spanish and Secondary Education in 1996. He received his Masters in Administration and most recently earned his doctorate Ed.D. in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. He and his wife, Leslie, have four children: Maren, Slade, Luke, and Lila. Prior to working at GCA, Daniel spent 16 years working in the Christian Music industry.

The Spencers attend Fellowship Bible in Franklin and have been in the area since 2000.

Daniel's love for Jesus, his education, and also his eclectic experience in music and business have brought him full circle into Christian Education at GCA.  His passion is to disciple students and help them reach their highest academic and spiritual potential.  He is thrilled to be working at GCA alongside such amazing and wonderful faculty and staff!  “I have the BEST JOB in the world!”  

 

Daniel’s life verse is Philippians 1:6 - "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."
