Bio

Jessica Hilliard began teaching in 1997 as a Preschool teacher and has been teaching ever since. Over the years, she has home schooled her two children from Kindergarten through high school, taught in a private school in Mexico, taught English to Spanish speaking adults, tutored numerous children, and most recently has taught Kindergarten in Christian schools. Teaching is more of a calling than a profession, and it was something that the Lord continuously led her to. 

When she began her latest teaching adventure in Kindergarten, she knew that she needed a degree to compliment her experience. She recently graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.  

Coming to Tennessee from Texas wasn’t a hard move because she and her husband were reunited with their children who had already made Nashville their home. Spending time with her daughter, son, and daughter-in-law is one of her greatest joys. Jessica and her husband, Gabe, also have a passion for missions, and have operated a non-profit ministry since 2003 that provides clean drinking water and the Gospel to underdeveloped countries.
