Bio

Justin Payne is a graduate of Mississippi College (B.S. degree in Social Studies;  Minors in Math and Computer Science) and Union University (Masters Degree in Education).  Justin began his teaching career in Memphis, TN at Evangelical Christian School where he taught for twelve years.  He has taught a wide variety of mathematics courses from 6th Grade math to Algebra II.  Justin held many leadership roles, including math department chair and 6th Grade team leader.

Concerning athletics, Justin ran varsity track and cross country at Mississippi College where he was a part of multiple conference championships, as well as an individual championship.  He is a Level 1 USATF certified coach and has coached football and track since 2004.  He has had the honor of coaching several runner-up and state champions in both football and track.  Justin also held the position of Sports Information Director for seven years.  

Justin joined the GCA family in the summer of 2017.  He is the Director of Technology K-8, and is currently teaching 7th grade math and coaching high school football and track.  He and his wife, Mandy, have five children: James, Reese, Conner, Tyler, and Samantha. Justin is so thankful that the Lord brought his family to GCA where God can use them for His glory and service.
