An ancient proverb says that “It takes a village to raise a child.”
At Grace Christian Academy, our “village” is actually a partnership. That partnership consists of the home, your particular church, and our Christian school all speaking into the lives of our students.
Exodus 17 tells of a battle the children of Israel were having to fight. As long as Moses held up his staff above his head, they were winning. As the staff dropped, they began losing. Verse 12 notes: “When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.” (Exodus 17:12) The children of Israel went on to win the battle!
At GCA, we desire to be your “Aaron and Hur”—coming alongside you when you become weary in this challenging “battle” of parenting in the 21st century. If I was parenting these days, I would want all the help I could get!
GCA is here for you! Please take us up on our offer to walk this journey with you.
Soli Deo Gloria. To God Alone be the Glory.
