Bio

Amelia Moore has always been involved in art. Growing up, she attended art camps, worked on homecoming floats, and painted murals. In college, she landed an art/business major at James Madison University in Virginia. Then she started a career in graphic design which led to a career as a professional photographer.

In addition to the full-time photography business, Amelia and her husband, Scott Moore, founded the non-profit, Athentikos, which facilitates creative arts workshops online and in Guatemala for the purpose of healing and self-expression.

She has been teaching a variety of art and photography workshops for over ten years. She loves inspiring people to use art as a tool to explore the world, express themselves, and as a connection to others and to God. Amelia also loves playing with their two Boston Terrier pups, parenting their two teenage boys (whom they adopted as babies from Guatemala), traveling, and hanging on the front porch with friends.
