BIO

Sara graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Freed-Hardeman University. After graduation, she lived in Henderson and Memphis where she taught first grade for 3 years and Kindergarten for 6 years. These experiences gave Sara the opportunity to work with children from all socioeconomic backgrounds and academic abilities. Sara loves to teach reading and loves to help children find books and authors they enjoy.

 

Sara feels so blessed that she and her three beautiful daughters are a part of the GCA community of faith. Sara finds joy and deep comfort in the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.”  Sara loves to spend time with her family at the lake and traveling to new places. She also enjoys antiquing and reading.
