BIO

Madison recently graduated from Lee University with a degree in Elementary Education.  Born and raised in Franklin, she is also a 2019 graduate of Grace Christian Academy.  She spent her time substitute teaching in intermediate school at GCA this past school year and has fallen in love with this age group.  Knowing how challenging these years can be, she is excited to get to know her students and help them navigate through the hills and valleys of 5th and 6th grade!

During her time at Lee University, Madison worked in the Admissions Office giving tours to prospective students and their families.  She also held a leadership position in the First Year Programs at Lee mentoring and teaching college Freshman.  Madison served as the worship leader for CRU, floor leader for her dorm, and led Sunday morning worship at her church and various youth retreats.  She attended GCA for 8 years. While a student here, she was heavily involved in the fine arts program; performing in musicals, choir concerts, art festivals and leading worship in weekly Chapels.

While not teaching, Madison enjoys traveling, hiking, playing guitar and piano, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, reading, and painting.  She loves coffee, all things music, and her dog, Mercy.

She is thrilled to be teaching at her alma mater!  Being called to Christian education, she is ready to share her love for science which is 100% all about God and His incredible creation, and share the gospel with her students while meeting them right where they are on their journey!
