BIO

Mandy was born in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from Evangelical Christian School.  She attended Mississippi College where she played volleyball and ran track and cross country.  She graduated with a degree in Art Education and soon afterward married her husband, Justin.  

 

Returning to Memphis, Mandy taught 6th grade Bible and History at Evangelical Christian School for 3 years, as well as Elementary Art for 1 year.  During this time she also coached volleyball and track at ECS and also completed her Masters of Education from Union University.  

 

Mandy decided to stay home with her first child, and since then their family has grown to 5 children:  James, Reese, Conner, Tyler, and Samantha.  In 2017, Justin and Mandy felt the Lord calling them to move near the Franklin area and become a part of the GCA community.  Justin began his role as Director of Technology and Mandy began coaching 6th grade volleyball.  When Mandy's youngest entered Pre-K, she felt the Lord instill in her heart the desire to teach again.  She is so thankful to be at GCA and continue her passion for guiding children to know and love Jesus Christ.
