BIO

Elena is originally from Southern California. Her mom is from Middle Tennessee, and Elena grew up visiting Tennessee every year to see all her family. While in California, she received her Bachelor of Arts from California Baptist University and earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She later earned a Master’s of Science in Education. Elena went on to teach in the district she grew up in. At one point she had the privilege of teaching at the same school as her mom! Elena has experience teaching both second and third grade throughout the last 6 years.

After having their two children, Elena and her husband Richard decided to make the move to Tennessee. While in Tennessee Elena has worked for a curriculum company and taught in a classical education setting.  She couldn’t be more excited to join GCA and can’t wait for the day her kids get to join her!
