Academic Honors Program

In an effort to challenge and equip students in the academic realm at the Middle School level, at Grace Christian Academy we begin offering Honors classes beginning in 7th Grade. Students are placed in these courses based upon a four pronged approach which includes:

ERB Test Scores
Assessment Average
End of Course Exam
Teacher Recommendation

We believe this captures a student’s overall ability to handle the rigor of Honors work, as well as the work ethic demonstrated thus far in the classroom.

Honors classes offered in 7th and 8th Grade are Science, English and Math. With the exception of Math, this placement does not determine the placement in High School Honors classes
